Made in Alfreton Derbyshire England is a new performing arts company based in Derbyshire. Our aim is to promote professional theatre and film production and widen participation in the Arts within the local community.

Our first production in November 2010 took place at Alfreton Grange Arts College community theatre with Serendipity Cottage, a play inspired by the Derbyshire community in and around Alfreton.

Written by David Taylor and Directed by Rebecca Frecknall, Serendipity Cottage not only brought quality professional theatre to Alfreton it also worked with the local school to engage young people in the performing arts.

Our next venture was at the Derby Studio Theatre in February 2012, with two new solo plays; Before the Hymns by David Taylor and Cloak and Daggers by Marlene Sidaway.
